The Big 3 is back in Miami, albeit this time with a lot less fanfare. Rumors have been circulating all year that Phoenix guard Goran Dragic was unhappy in the land of the Sun. The 3 guard rotation of him, Eric Bledsoe and Isaiah Thomas really put a damper on The Dragon’s statistical production.
Goran is a player that prefers to have the ball in order to function at his full potential. Now that the Dragon has flown to Miami he is expected to give the Heat that much needed consistent 3rd scoring option.
At only 28 years old Goran Dragic is arguably one of the most underrated players in the NBA. He is a very savvy player that has that unorthodox Euro-Style court vision.
Dragic’s current averages of 16 points and 4 assists per game seem rather pedestrian. However it was only one short season ago when the Dragon averaged 20 and 6 and won the Most Improved Player award. When you factor the lack of pieces Miami gave up and think about the sheer talent Dragic brings to their starting 5, its gonna be quite exciting to watch how this experiment pans out.
